Update

I have not had any time to do a shoot, the weather is getting better so yay!!!
On Saturday I will be meeting a friend in Holland Mi to take pictures!!!
I cannot wait to see how they turn out :)

First post; 2014~

Yes yes I know :) I haven't been "On top" at writing, I'm trying!

My father hasn't always been tech savvy, he's 30 years older then me.
But today he has asked me how to "Blog" or make a blog!
Seeing's how I like to blog and I like messing around with templates, I should have a good work day ahead of me blogging!

Winter has killed my photography spirit, along with everything green.

Here's what I managed to scrounge up!

Busyness

I know I haven't posted in awhile due to school, work and no free time!
 BUT that doesn't mean I stopped making time for photography!
 So here's what you've missed:

Slumber Queen pt.1

I just recently got a new lens -70-300mm- and I absolutely love it!
 Over the course of 2013 I have saved up money from all the shoots I did and will hopefully be buying another lens -like a 50mm or buy a -Cheaper- photoshop.

 This year has been a challenge both in personal life and for my photography business.
I photographed two weddings and 1 senior session and multiple couple sessions!
I can't wait to see what's in store for next year :)

God has given me this gift and I plan to use it well.


This week I have challenged myself to be grateful and to be happy if someone copies my idea or tries to re-create something I've done. Because I get, not mad just upset, if someone tries to "outdo" me.... which they aren't :)

This week I challenge you to do something out of your comfort zone! I went outside -in *17 temp- for my "Slumber Queen pt.1"- and that was not something I think anyone would want to do!

Vlogging

One of my favorite You-tubers/vloggers are Kalel and Anthony's channel, Watchusliveandstuff.

 I think it would so cool to be a vlogger but I mean what would I talk about? My life is pretty boring ATM. 

But I mean it would be so so awesome to start a channel and vlog and do some photography based videos! 

If I do end up making a vlogging channel I will post it here!

In other news I just got a a really cool mask that I cannot wait to take pictures (: 

 I haven't been able to take pictures in quite awhile, school and work have taken a lot of time away from pictures/ideas.

And recently here in the weird weather state of Michigan it has snowed the past two days.

 Which then cancelled my plans for outdoor shoot :/

Help?

I have always LOVED talking/writing/typing or sharing my thoughts.

I am working on my blogging skills, writing skills and what people want to see/read! 

Well and what really helps is feedback! 

Good and bad reviews or comments are what make me better; with that being said I need your help (: 

Comment what I need to work on or what you want to hear or see from me.

I hope to someday figure out how to record my process.

School Pictures

I -Like every year for awhile now- take my brother and I's school pictures!
Lately I haven't been able to take pictures, due to not being able to shoot anyone, besides myself.
 And on the 13th I get to take pictures of one my very close friends! I am soo very excited!
